Meet Dr Trinh – In her Own Words:

Why did you become an ophthalmologist?

While in medical school, I had looked and interned in various specialties of interest.  However, it was a conversation with my father after his cataract surgery that sparked my interest in ophthalmology.  As an avid reader, he described his new eyes as having new beginning. He loved the clear vision and the vivid colors immediately after surgery and the whole experience enhanced his life. Until this day, when my post-operative patients tell me how much they love their “new eyes”, I feel I have made the best decision by pursuing a career in ophthalmology.

What do you enjoy most about being an ophthalmologist?

Ophthalmology is very rewarding to me because I get to hear patients tell me how they love their new and improved eyesight.  It is a unique specialty in which I can diagnose and treat the majority of the patients myself and see the successful outcomes.

If there is one thing you want patients to know about you?

I am dedicated in everything I do.  To all my patients, I am thorough and meticulous in my examinations and surgeries.

Why should patients go to SoCal Eye?

I have been in practice at SoCal Eye since 1997 and I believe we are ethical and give the best care to patients.
